Job Description

BMS Service & Commissioning Engineer

Looking to take control of your engineering future?
If you're an experienced BMS professional with a passion for smart building technologies and systems like Trend, Siemens, Schneider or Tridium, this is a standout opportunity to grow your expertise, gain autonomy, and be rewarded for your technical excellence.

You'll be joining a high-performing team of engineers delivering essential service and commissioning works across commercial and industrial environments. From diagnosing complex faults to fine-tuning systems for optimal efficiency, your skills will have a real, tangible impact on sustainability, occupant comfort, and operational cost savings.

Here’s where you come in.
As a BMS Service & Commissioning Engineer, you’ll work across a diverse range of projects and maintenance portfolios, ensuring building management systems operate to their full potential. You'll be the technical lead on-site — configuring, commissioning, troubleshooting and optimising intelligent control systems in live environments.

This isn’t just about keeping systems running. It’s about transforming how buildings perform. You’ll engage directly with clients, energy teams and project stakeholders, helping to deliver smarter, more energy-efficient outcomes using the latest in building automation.

Whether you’re integrating third-party devices, reprogramming control logic, or responding to reactive faults, you’ll be trusted to work independently and take ownership of your sites. You’ll also stay ahead of the curve with exposure to IoT integrations, cloud-based BMS platforms, and energy analytics solutions.

Why this role? Why now?
Salary up to £53,000 per annum, plus £6,825 car allowance
✔ 25 days holiday (rising with service), with buy/sell options
✔ 7.5% pension scheme (rising up to 10%)
✔ Performance-related bonus schemes
✔ Private healthcare, EV salary sacrifice, gym discounts & more
✔ Flexible smart tech and EV charger loan schemes
✔ Career progression opportunities and personal development support

This is more than a job — it’s a career move into a space that’s only growing in importance. As the world continues to focus on sustainability and intelligent infrastructure, your skills will remain in high demand, your contribution will be increasingly valued, and your career will be future-proofed.

Success in this role looks like:

  • Independently managing service and commissioning works on live sites

  • Delivering optimised BMS performance that meets both operational and environmental targets

  • Building strong relationships with clients and internal teams

  • Demonstrating continuous improvement in technical and system knowledge

Ready to make your next move?
If you’ve got experience with Trend, Siemens, Schneider, or Tridium BMS systems and are ready to step into a role with variety, autonomy, and long-term opportunity — then this is your chance.

Apply now and take the lead in shaping smarter, more efficient buildings.
