Job Description

Imagine being at the heart of some of the most high-profile, technically complex BMS installations in Central London, projects that are shaping the city’s skyline and setting new standards in intelligent building control. If you're a skilled Document Controller with experience in construction environments, this is your chance to elevate your career.

You'll join a dedicated major projects team that doesn’t just deliver systems, it builds long-term success stories. From day one, you’ll be contributing to large-scale, multi-million-pound developments with a focus on precision, efficiency, and collaboration.

This is more than a support function. It’s a pivotal role where your attention to detail, ownership of information flow, and document compliance expertise ensure that world-class systems are delivered to the highest standards.

Whether you're keen to deepen your technical abilities or grow into leadership, you'll be part of a team that truly values development, offers a clear path forward, and celebrates shared success.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Setting up and managing a project-specific document control system in line with client expectations
  • Overseeing the smooth receipt, logging, distribution and archiving of project documents
  • Maintaining document numbering, status tracking and revision history with total accuracy
  • Managing internal and external review cycles to ensure on-time responses from engineers, subcontractors and client teams
  • Acting as the main point of contact for all documentation within the BMS project delivery team

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong experience as a Document Controller—ideally within BMS, M&E or broader construction environments
  • Familiarity with common CDE platforms such as Asite, Aconex, BIM 360, or Viewpoint
  • A meticulous approach to maintaining logs, trackers and reporting tools
  • Team-focused mindset and clear communication skills
  • Commitment to health & safety, and flexibility to attend sites across Central London when needed

Your future in building intelligence starts here. If you're looking for a position where your skills are valued, your development is prioritised, and your contribution truly matters — this is it.

What’s in it for you

  • A competitive salary package, with strong earning potential through a generous bonus scheme
  • Additional standby allowance and regular opportunities for overtime
  • Access to a flexible company car scheme, including the option for fully electric vehicles — or take a monthly car allowance if you prefer to use your own vehicle
  • After 12 months, you'll have the opportunity to become part of an employee-owned business
  • A contributory pension scheme with 6% employer contributions to help support your future
  • Free private medical insurance to give you and your family added peace of mind
  • Life assurance valued at four times your annual salary
  • 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays, with the chance to buy up to 3 extra days each year
  • Access to Cyclescheme (up to £2,500) to help you stay active and commute sustainably
