An experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer is required on a contract basis for a project in Woking, working on a Schneider Electric BMS installation.

This is a fully hands-on commissioning role requiring strong knowledge of Schneider StruxureWare and EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO). The engineer will be responsible for taking systems through the complete commissioning process on site, from initial power-up and network validation through to graphics, functional testing and operational verification against the design specification and descriptions of operation.

The project requires somebody capable of working independently, identifying issues proactively and driving commissioning activities through to completion.

Scope of Works

• Full BMS commissioning on Schneider Electric Struxureware systems
• Power-up and controller validation
• Network commissioning and integration
• Commissioning and modification within StruxureWare and EBO
• Graphics checking, modification and validation
• Point-to-point testing
• Functional testing of HVAC plant and control strategies
• Verification against descriptions of operations and design documentation
• Fault finding, diagnostics and rectification
• Supporting witnessing, demonstrations and handover activities
• Liaising effectively with project teams and site personnel

Required Experience

• Proven experience commissioning Schneider Electric BMS systems
• Strong Schneider StruxureWare experience
• Strong EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO) knowledge
• Experience carrying out full on-site BMS commissioning activities
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and descriptions of operation
• Strong understanding of HVAC plant operation and control strategies
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability
• Able to work autonomously within live project environments
