We are seeking a commercially astute and delivery-focused Senior Project Manager to lead the successful execution of major Building Management Systems, Security and Smart Building Infrastructure projects.

The Role

Reporting to senior leadership, you will take full ownership of the operational, commercial and delivery performance of major projects from award through to successful handover.

You will be trusted to lead client engagement, project strategy, commercial management, programme performance and resource planning whilst managing key stakeholder relationships across the project lifecycle.

This role offers substantial visibility, responsibility and progression potential.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Project Leadership

• Lead the delivery of major BMS, Security and ICT infrastructure projects
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably and on programme
• Develop delivery strategies and project execution plans
• Drive performance across all project stages

Client Relationship Management

• Act as the senior client representative
• Develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders
• Manage communication at all levels
• Provide executive-level project reporting

Commercial Ownership

• Manage project P&L performance
• Drive margin protection and cash flow
• Lead change management and variation processes
• Support commercial negotiations and final account settlement

Team Leadership

• Lead Project Managers, Engineering Teams and Specialist Subcontractors
• Mentor and develop project personnel
• Promote accountability, collaboration and excellence

Health, Safety & Quality

• Champion industry-leading standards
• Ensure compliance with all company and statutory requirements
• Lead a culture focused on safe delivery and continuous improvement

We are keen to speak with experienced Senior Project Managers who have successfully delivered complex construction or technology projects within:

• BMS
• Smart Buildings
• Building Automation
• Electronic Security
• ICT Infrastructure
• MEP
• Critical Environments
• Data Centres

You'll bring:

• A proven track record delivering high-value projects
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills
• Strong commercial acumen
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
• The ability to build confidence with both clients and delivery teams

Qualifications

Essential

• SMSTS
• Relevant industry experience

Desirable

• Degree, HNC or HND in a related discipline
• APM, PMP or PRINCE2
• CSCS Black Card or PQP Card
• IOSH or NEBOSH
