Job Description

Are you an experienced manager and business leader with extensive experience within the BMS controls sector? This could be just the role for you. 

We are looking for an insprational business leader to take over the management of a Scottish Building Management Solutions / Smart Buildings business.

  • Perhaps you already manage a part of a BMS business, feel ready for a step up, but have no opportunity for further progression any time soon.

In this role you will:

  • Drive Strategic Expansion: Spearhead growth initiatives, forging new partnerships to solidify our position in the smart buildings sector.
  • Lead with Impact: Manage and inspire a team of engineers and sales professionals across Scotland, delivering excellence in operational and customer-focused objectives.
  • Shape Regional Strategy: Collaborate with the Operations Director to develop and execute a robust business plan that drives financial success and operational efficiency.
  • Grow Market Presence: Partner with sales teams to expand market share in retrofit and new build projects, while contributing to company-wide strategic planning.
  • Take Ownership of Budgets: Manage budgets, ensure compliance, and implement improvements to maximise efficiency and profitability.
  • Develop Talent: Conduct performance reviews, identify skill gaps, and create development plans to empower your team and ensure consistent growth.
  • Inspire Collaboration: Build strong stakeholder relationships, working closely with senior management to align operational objectives with company goals.
