Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance and diagnostics on BMS systems in line with customer agreements
• Provide clear, concise reports from PPM visits to meet KPIs
• Keep schedules and trackers up to date for both internal teams and customers
• Complete small repairs and remedial works as needed
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment for reliability and performance
• Respond to customer callouts in the event of system failures
• Document all service activities, repairs, and client interactions professionally

What You’ll Bring

• Familiarity with Trend & IQ Vision (experience with Tridium, Schneider EcoStruxure, or ALC advantageous—training provided if needed)
• Previous experience in the building controls industry, ideally with an understanding of mechanical plant
• Diagnostic and problem-solving expertise, with a methodical approach
• Strong communication skills, able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical clients
• Confidence working independently while also being a team player
• CSCS skill card (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence
• Comfortable travel across the North East, including occasional on-call rota work
• PC literacy and good record-keeping ability
