Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative maintenance and diagnostics on BMS systems in line with customer agreements
- Provide clear, concise reports from PPM visits to meet KPIs
- Keep schedules and trackers up to date for both internal teams and customers
- Complete small repairs and remedial works as needed
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment for reliability and performance
- Respond to customer callouts in the event of system failures
- Document all service activities, repairs, and client interactions professionally
What You’ll Bring
- Familiarity with Trend & IQ Vision (experience with Tridium, Schneider EcoStruxure, or ALC advantageous—training provided if needed)
- Previous experience in the building controls industry, ideally with an understanding of mechanical plant
- Diagnostic and problem-solving expertise, with a methodical approach
- Strong communication skills, able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical clients
- Confidence working independently while also being a team player
- CSCS skill card (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence
- Comfortable travel across the North East, including occasional on-call rota work
- PC literacy and good record-keeping ability
