Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell cutting-edge Building Management System (BMS) solutions to a wide range of clients across commercial property, real estate, and facilities management sectors.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through trust, expertise, and consultative sales approaches.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the North West region to support ongoing growth targets.

  • Conduct client meetings, site visits, and solution presentations to deliver tailored, value-driven offerings.

  • Collaborate with internal teams—engineers, designers, and project managers—to ensure successful project handovers and continued client satisfaction.

  • Keep abreast of evolving BMS technologies and market trends to ensure solutions remain innovative and competitive.

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management using CRM systems.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client briefings to strengthen brand awareness and network growth.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in BMS or Building Controls sales, or similar technical/solution sales within the built environment.

  • Solid understanding of Building Control Systems and energy efficiency solutions.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify client needs and match them with technical solutions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative and collaborative sales approach.

  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload across a large territory.

  • Results-driven mindset with a passion for sustainable innovation and future-focused technologies.

  • A proactive attitude toward learning and professional development.

  • Full UK driving licence is essential, due to regional travel to client sites.
