You will look after a patch largely across the Central Belt, with some travel across wider Scotland when needed. You will own your visits end to end. Plan the PPM properly, diagnose the root cause, fix what you can there and then, and leave the plant running better than you found it. When a bigger fix is needed, you will scope it clearly so it can be priced and delivered without drama.

What you’ll be doing

• PPM and reactive service on BMS controlled HVAC plant
• Fault finding and optimisation to cut energy use and alarms
• Minor repairs and small remedials.
• Commissioning responsibility on smaller service-led extra works, and supporting the project's delivery team with commissioning tasks when required
• Clear service reports and practical recommendations for clients
• Collaborate with projects on upgrades when required

If you know your way around at least one mainstream BMS platform and the HVAC it controls, you’ll feel at home. You care about doing the job properly, not just closing a ticket. You are comfortable speaking with site teams and FM clients, and you take pride in leaving sites better than you found them.

One honest challenge

While most work is in the Central Belt, you must be prepared to travel more widely across Scotland when needed. On those weeks, your planning and communication will make the difference.
