BMS Design Engineer – Data Centres & Critical Systems

If you have ever designed a system and wondered how much of it actually worked as intended on site, this role closes that gap.

You will be part of a specialist team delivering BMS systems across data centres and complex infrastructure projects, with full involvement from design through to commissioning and handover.

This is not a siloed design role. You will see your work implemented, tested, challenged, and refined in real-world environments.

What you will be doing

• Producing full BMS design packages including control strategies, schedules, and panel inputs
• Developing software logic and graphics interfaces
• Supporting integration into client systems and wider infrastructure
• Working closely with commissioning teams through QA/QC stages
• Producing technical documentation, RFIs, and submittals
• Attending design and project meetings with stakeholders

What you need

• Experience in BMS design within project environments
• Strong HVAC and controls knowledge
• Exposure to major BMS platforms (Trend, Tridium, Schneider, Siemens, ALC)
• Ability to develop and interpret control strategies
• Strong technical documentation capability
