The role:
As Operations Manager, you’ll oversee all day-to-day service activities — from scheduling, resource planning and technical support to remedial works, quoting and client communication. You’ll be the key link between engineers, account managers and customers, ensuring contracts run smoothly, opportunities are maximised, and service standards remain high.

You’ll also play a hands-on role in commercial growth, supporting remedial and additional works quoting, reviewing proposals, and driving revenue (currently around £1.5m p/a). Collaboration is key — you’ll work closely with account managers, sales teams, and administration to deliver first-class results.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in BMS, building controls, or a closely related building services field

  • Strong organisational skills with a background in operations, service delivery, or team leadership

  • Commercial awareness — comfortable with quoting, cost control, and revenue generation

  • A collaborative approach with excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
